To make Conservation Project Support (CPS) awards. CPS grants are annual competitive awards for projects of up to 2 years. CPS grants fund a variety of projects related to the safe- keeping of living and non-living collections including: surveys of collections and environmental conditions; treatment of collections, conservation research, environmental improvements, and training of museum staff in collections care.
